Thesis abstract:

I’m interested in social class, social mobility, occupational choice, and elites. My PhD research engages with social mobility into elite occupations and micro-class reproduction in Germany. I’m particularly interested in the legal profession. My work is funded by the .

My work is located at the intersections of sociology, economics, and social policy to comprehensively understand the conditions and perceptions of social class and social mobility. I seek to create impactful public-facing research that’s communicated in an accessible manner. You can read about my work in the media  and .
