The recent Report by the House of Lords Communications and Digital Committee cites the evidence submitted by the LSE Law, Technology, and Society Research Group with approval at several points. The Report examines the co-ordination of regulatory interventions in the digital regulatory environment and how regulators may “horizon scan” for technological and cultural developments. A number of LTS recommendations including that the Digital Regulatory Co-operation forum be placed on a statutory footing and that all relevant regulators be invited to join are reflected in the recommendations found in the Report.
