Philippe Aghion is a professor at the College de France and LSE, and a fellow of the Econometric Society and of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Oriana Bandiera () is a Professor of Economics and the Director of the Suntory and Toyota Centre for Economics and Related Disciplines (STICERD) at the London School of Economics. 

The  at LSE () is one of the largest economics departments in the world. Its size ensures that all areas of economics are strongly represented in both research and teaching.
